Finnish Internet Forum to focus on AI and crisis resilience of everyday digital life

The main topics of the Finnish Internet Forum 2024 include artificial intelligence (AI) and the crisis resilience of our internet-based, everyday digital life. The event will be held at Little Parliament on Wednesday 3 April.

Artificial intelligence is almost everywhere, for better or for worse. The European Union has taken a leading role in internet regulation and has just reached an agreement on the AI Act. However, will it be able to rise to the challenge presented by technological development? What stance will Finland take towards AI in the future?

The Finnish Internet Forum will also discuss the crisis resilience of the internet and the state of play of two parallel processes aimed at strengthening the framework for global internet governance.

Please register(Link to another website.) for the Finnish Internet Forum no later than 22 March 2024 at 12 noon. Registration is required for attendance in person at Little Parliament at Arkadiankatu 3. Participants will be asked to provide identification.

The event will be broadcast live on the Parliament website at https://verkkolahetys.eduskunta.fi(Link to another website.) (Opens New Window)
