Foreign Minister Stubb to visit Lithuania

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will make a visit to Lithuania on Monday 30 March. The visit will be hosted by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Vygaudas Ušackas.
In addition to Foreign Minister Ušackas, in Vilnius Stubb will meet President Valdas Adamkus and Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius and make a speech concerning external relations of the EU at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University.
The topics of discussion will include the bilateral relations between Finland and Lithuania, the Baltic Sea region cooperation, energy policy, Russia, and the EU’s Eastern Partnership. Another broad topic on the agenda will be the European security issues.
On Tuesday, Stubb will continue his trip directly from Vilnius to The Hague, to attend the international Afghanistan conference to be held there.
