Press conference by EU Commissioner for Trade Mandelson and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Lehtomäki on the Internet

EU Commissioner for Trade Peter Mandelson and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paula Lehtomäki will hold a joint press conference on Friday, 21 April at 14.30. The press conference will later be available as a RealVideo recording on the website of Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Commissioner Mandelson will visit Finland on 20-21 April. Minister Lehtomäki and Commissioner Mandelson will discuss the present World Trade Organisation, WTO, negotiation round and other trade political questions of current interest, as well as the forthcoming Finnish EU Presidency. During his visit, Mandelson will also meet Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen. In addition, the Commissioner will visit the Finnish Parliament, meet with Finnish business leaders and speak at the European Commission Representation in Finland.
