IATI Promotes Transparency
Finland is committed to promoting transparency in development cooperation and also supports this goal on an international level.
The goal of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) is to create jointly with other development actors (donor countries, partner countries, civil society organisations) a joint set of standards for transparency in data.
When the different parties are all reporting data in a common format, comparing and combining them becomes much easier; transparency in sharing and analysing data increases. Finland has been a signatory of IATI since the beginning.
- Raw data from Finland and other IATI signatories' disbursements can be found on the IATI webpages
